Do you have a healthy dog in your home?

It is a proven fact that owning a healthy dog increases your life span. If you have never owned an animal, you are missing out on the greatest experience you could ever have. It doesn't matter what animal you choose, making sure it is healthy is the most important job.

My husband and I have had two dogs. He chose his from the Humane Society. I bought mine from a pet store. Both dogs were great family pets and got along great. It has been over 12 years since we lost both dogs and we are now ready to embark on the adventure again. We are "rescuing" a puppy. She is black with white accents on all four feet, her nose and her chest. We are naming her Maggie. She is adorable and loves to cuddle.

We have been researching all the new techniques for training and caring for a healthy dog and want to share our knowledge with you. It's all about getting the right stuff. Having the best food, toys, and other supplies is the first step. Knowing how to train your dog is just as important as what you feed her.

Providing a safe and secure environment is very important. Knowing what is poisonous and dangerous to her is just as important as keeping your entire family safe from harm.

We are looking forward to a long relationship with Maggie and the best way we know to do that is to keep her healthy and happy.
